Important: Bottom‑water while in use!

- Always water from the bottom so the dry mineral layer stays intact and effective.
- Top‑watering can wash the layer, open the surface for egg‑laying, and reduce performance.

How to bottom‑water

1. Fill a tray or sink with 1–1.5 inches of water.
2. Place the pot in the water and let it wick moisture for 15–30 minutes.
3. Remove the pot and allow excess water to drain.

How to use

1. Sprinkle a thin, even layer (about 1/8–1/4 inch) across the entire soil surface, edge to stem.
2. Keep the surface layer dry between waterings; bottom‑water only.
3. Refresh the layer after each watering or any time it’s disturbed.
4. Continue use for 2–4 weeks to help interrupt the gnat life cycle; use with sticky traps for monitoring.
