When will my plants ship?
All orders are shipped the Monday or Tuesday following purchase, if weather permits. If you make a purchase on a Monday, your order will be shipped the following week.
What if my plants arrive in the mail damaged?
If shipped plant arrives unhealthy or significantly damaged, we may offer a partial credit. Please read our full credit policy for more details.
Do I need to add a heat pack to my order?
Shipping plants to cold climates can be challenging. Tropical plants need a certain environment to thrive and can become damaged if exposed to cold temperatures.
To ensure your plants arrive healthy, we recommend adding a heat pack to your order if the temperature in your city is below 40° at any point during the two weeks following your purchase. For an extra layer of protection, we recommend adding insulation to your order if temperatures are below freezing.
We don't recommend shipping to cities with temperatures below freezing. Please wait until it's a bit warmer to order! We're sorry for any inconvenience.
What soil is best for tropical plants?
Generally, I would suggest using a well draining soil for aroids with ingredients such as perlite, orchid bark, lava rock, pumice or peat moss to help aerate the soil! Want to skip the hassle of mixing your own blend? Consider our soil-free potting mix!
